6 month contract $85.00 an hour - 3 positions available

The Software Engineer will develop software applications and participate on product development teams.

II. Essential Functions

Development of software products by writing, testing, and documenting code (80%)

Generate technical requirements and processes (15%)

Provide guidance and training to other functional groups as needed (5%)

Plans and carries out work assignments; resolves most conflicts which arise; coordinates work with others as necessary; interprets policy on own initiative in terms of established objectives. Keeps Teamleader informed of progress, potentially controversial matters, or far-reaching implications.

VI. Working Conditions

Equipment:
Office equipment including Desktop PC, Microsoft Visual Studio, access to SQL Server and Web Server

Work Environment:

Office Environment

Some travel required

Present for core business hours but hours may increase or vary based on fluctuating workloads

Skills / Requirements

IV. Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma required

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Five years of experience with embedded applications, team software development projects, database applications

Experience with user-based applications is a plus, but not required

A combination of C++, HTML, ASP, and Linux experience required

Must be willing to travel

Regular attendance is required

Must have a positive attitude

Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the client culture, that is, exhibit the values of Compliance, Respect, Innovation, Responsibility, Teamwork

Must be well groomed and maintain a professional appearance

Must be legally authorized to work in the country in which the position is located

Must possess and maintain a valid Driver License

Must pass 10 year background check and drug test

V. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proficient with programming languages including C++, HTML, ASP and Linux scripting languages

Proficient with MS Office tools including Access, Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to interact with a wide range of Customer groups, both internal and external

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Speak English fluently

Ability to communicate technical issues in an assertive and tactful manner
