Jobing Description

Title Searcher & Proofers needed $10/hr
Several shifts for 11-8-must be flexible on shift.
Process or proof mortgage titles for a client or group of clients.

Responsibilities:

Under direct supervision, conduct searches of public records both electronically and in paper files.

Examines property title to determine legal status of property.

Summarizes recorded documents, such as deeds, mortgages, deeds to trust, judgments, contracts, liens, and other documents affecting the title to a property.

Records mortgage documents to proper lien position.

Inform client on a status of title search.

May prepare and issue title policy that guarantees legality of title.

Performs other duties as required

Skills / Requirements

Must be able to work overtime, including weekends

Must be able to pass a Criminal Background and drug screening

Must have a background in Title, Mortgage, or Appraisal

Be able to work 11-8 shift
