Job: Fountain Operators

The Ghirardelli Chocolate Company is an integral part of the fascinating history of the development of chocolate into the most craved flavor of consumers today. The origination of chocolate dates back over 4000 years to the culture of the Mayas in Central and South America, then to its introduction in Europe in the 1500, its re-invention by European chocolatiers as a sweet, creamy confection, and its re-introduction into the New World and America in the 1800's.

We are currently seeking Fountain Operators!

Duties include:

Properly set up, maintain, and break down fountain area

Utilize good judgment and practice to minimize or eliminate wasted product

Replenish toppings and various fountain items

Maintain the proper level and all required ice cream flavors

Maintain fountain area and corresponding equipment in a clean and sanitary condition

Have knowledge of all fountain products and their required preparation

Work as a "Topper" or "Scooper" as needed

Be knowledgeable of product information, prices, and ingredients

Follow food safety guidelines and best practices

Maintain all candy making equipment and supplies in good working order

Keep current of all Candy Making recipes

Previous experience preferred but not required

Excellent communication and customer service skills a must
