Jobing Description
Operate all downstream packaging equipment.
Ensure compliance with TCCC Quality Systems standards.
Perform all tasks in a safe manner to ensure achievement of Quality, Service, and Cost objectives.
Comply with all standard operating procedures and requirements under The Coca-Cola Company Management System.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work 12 hour shifts or other work schedules as determined by business need, including overtime as required.
Standard work schedule includes 12 hour shifts, three or four days per week, working every other weekend.
Must be able to rotate to other positions.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a high-speed bottling and production environment.
Work involves exposure to temperature extremes, high noise levels, wetness,
heights, dust, moving equipment, vibrations and vapors.
Equipment Used:
Personal protective equipment including, but not limited to safety glasses, steel-toed shoes and hearing protection. MSDS sheets. Fork Lift, hoist, hand cart, hand tools, measuring instruments, equipment operations manuals.
Current schedule is three 12 hour days one week and four 12 hour days the next,
working every other weekend, using a 2-2-3 pattern.
This position is night shift.
Skills / Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Manual and finger dexterity.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand instructions given in English.
Ability to work eight-hour shifts, 12 hour shifts or other work schedules as determined by
business need, including overtime as required.
Ability to recognize material and product defects.
Ability to hear machine operations sounds to detect jams, changes in
speed and other routine running conditions.
Must be able to rotate positions.
Essential Duties:
Ensure efficient operation of case forming, case packing, labeling and all other downstream equipment.
Ensure equipment is supplied with required materials, (e.g., adhesives, shrink
wrap, labels).
Perform package quality checks as required.
Comply with all standard safety practices, safety rules, and all Company rules
and policies.
Maintain accurate records and logs as required.
Perform operator-related preventative maintenance duties as required.
Maintain equipment and area cleanliness to ensure compliance with all
GMP standards.
Work directly with maintenance personnel, other line personnel and management
to problem-solve to ensure maximum production efficiencies.
Maintain proper safety conditions of equipment including immediately correcting or
reporting safety issues to your supervisor.
Troubleshoot and correct machinery or quality problems.
Set up and/or changeover equipment to different packages sizes or different
case codes.
