Job: Quality Assurance Lab Technician

Job Responsibilities: Will perform standardized qualitative and quantitative tests to determine physical or chemical properties of beverage products; verify product codes, labels, cases, cartons, cans, packages, sleeves, seals, and shrink-wrap; obtain samples and perform analytical testing to ensure conformance to specifications; conduct routine comparisons of products against established standards with regard to uniform color, clarity, appearance, defects, flavor, aroma, and texture; communicate quality problems to management; complete Quality Assurance reports as necessary; calibrate laboratory instruments; prepare and standardize chemical solutions; verify and standardize lab equipment; monitor and inspect clean up; demonstrate attendance and other duties as needed.

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED (Bachelors degree is preferred). Must have 1 year of experience to include prior experience in chemical laboratory setting.

Must understand policies, procedures, technical manuals and other material pertaining to the operation and make decisions when appropriate; must be able to work an 8 hour shift and extended hours as required.
