This position requires that you reside in the state of Florida. In addition, you are required to participate in and successfully progress through two weeks of paid training. Our onboarding and training process is completed remotely. You will not have to travel to our facility in Largo, Florida. All of our training will be facilitated through our outstanding distance learning program.
Home Agent Sales Associates answer incoming calls regarding our exciting sweepstakes offer from the comfort of their home. The Sales Associate offers the caller the opportunity to purchase over 200 magazine titles at extremely reduced rates. There will be no outbound dialing required.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Answer incoming calls
2. Data entry of all caller information
3. Reading our script verbatim
4. Must follow all company policies and sales processes
Skills / Requirements
18 years old or 17 years old with HS diploma or GED.
Good reading skills. Excellent phone etiquette.
Average computer skills (understand computer navigation and downloading software).
Ability and willingness to learn our sales processes.
Positive attitude.
Qualified candidates must reside in the state of Florida.
Candidates must have strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work self sufficiently in a distraction-free home office environment.
You must own an approved USB headset and a PC with the following configurations:
Operating System: Windows XP
CPU: 800 MHz or greater
RAM (memory): 1 GB or higher
Monitor: must support 800 x 600 video resolution
Hard Disk Space: 1 GB (free) minimum
Operating System: Vista/Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit are supported)
CPU: 1 GHz or greater
RAM (memory): 1 GB or higher
Monitor: must support 1024 x 768 video resolution
Hard Disk Space: 15 GB (free) minimum
High-speed Cable or FIOS connection, such as BrightHouse Networks RoadRunner, Verizon FIOS, Knology, Comcast or certain AT&T UVerse plans.
A minimum of 4Mbps up and 1 Mbps down speed is required.
Wireless internet connections such as wireless broadband or wireless routers are not supported.
Satellite high-speed connection cannot be utilized due to natural interference, such as clouds and weather.
At this time, the only version of Internet Explorer which is compatible with our software is Internet Explorer 7 (IE7). No other web browsers will be supported. If you do not currently have Internet Explorer 7, you will be asked to upgrade prior to starting training.
Anti-Virus Software with any built-in firewall features disabled.
